About Us
East Magic is a Bangkok-based VFX studio that delivers stunning compositing for film and TV. Founded by Patswitch Jaritngarm, an award-winning VFX artist with over a decade of experience in Hollywood, East Magic combines creativity, expertise, and innovation to bring your stories to life.

Patswitch’s journey began as a child in Thailand, where he was mesmerized by movies, games, and animation. He followed his passion by studying computer science at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, where he graduated as the top student and won the Computer Science Project Awards 2010.
He then moved to the US to pursue his education and career in VFX at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he also graduated as a No.1 student from the faculty and won several accolades and honors.

He worked for some of the leading VFX companies in the world, such as Framestore, Luma Pictures, and The Walt Disney Studios. He contributed to some of the biggest blockbusters in history, such as Alien: Covenant, Spider-man: Homecoming, and The Academy Awards nomination: Doctor Strange. He also worked on successful TV shows, such as Ballers, House of Cards, The Golden Globe Winner: The Americans, and iconic commercials, such as BMW’s Eyes on Gigi and SAMSUNG’s Rihanna’s Antidiary. He was one of the few Thai to get the O1 visa, a recognition of his extraordinary achievements in the motion picture and television industry.
In 2020, the pandemic hit hard on the US, made him decided to return to Thailand. He became a VFX teacher at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, one of Thailand's oldest and most prestigious private universities. He also became a VFX supervisor at YGG and later at Igloo studio, where he learned how to lead, supervise, and build a strong team.

He founded East Magic, a VFX studio specializing in VFX compositing for film and TV. He and his team have worked on some of the latest and upcoming projects, such as NBC / HBO GO’s The Thing About Pam, A24’s Dicks: The Musical, and Disney+ Hot Star / Hulu’s The Mill.
